In this context, the Customs officers and the customs brokers in these three sites have been trained, as well as the local ASYCUDA Implementation Teams. (please see What's New section of the website)
The ASYCUDA Transit System was implemented and is fully is operational on the 2nd transit axis, i.e. Islam Kala (border with Iran) - Herat - Kabul, and will be implemented in the near future on the 3rd transit axis, i.e. Hairatan (border with Uzbekistan) - Mazar e Sharif - Kabul, and in Thorgundi (border with Turkmenistan).

The implementation of ASYCUDA in Afghanistan will continue with the piloting of the ASYCUDA++ DPS (Declaration Processing System) in Kabul Customs House.
